I was hoping someone could help me out with this...

Last night, I had a dream:
I found myself in a desert called Cyberland.
It was hot.
My canteen had sprung a leak and I was thirsty.

Out of the abyss walked a cow, Elsie.
I asked if she had anything to drink, she said,
"I'm forbidden to produce milk,
In Cyberland we only drink Diet Coke"

She said,
"Only thing to do is jump over the moon.

...what do you suppose it means?

Well, there are a couple of things it could mean, honestly.

The imagery of wandering in a desert alone is an indicator of risk to your health and safety due to poor decisions, and warns of a need for increased caution. Similarly, the thirst also indicates that you may be reaching for things beyond your ability.

The heat, unfortunately, denotes that the risks will come not from you, but from betrayal in the future.

The cow, on the other hand, is an intriguing presence. Can you tell me more about her? She could be a very, very good thing, especially in the context.

Being told to jump over the moon... well, that's a rather lofty goal, but it can be quite rewarding, and it is bound to lead to better things.

(Of course, it could also just be a product of eating too many sweets before bed. ;) Dream divination is a very tricky thing.)

I...I've never had any dream deviations before...

S...she seemed very nice and in the end...let me drink milk from her and then let me climb on her back and we jumped clear over the moon off into space! I woke up singing!

I've got good news for you, Tiffany.

Your dream indicates that even though you're facing challenges in the future, you've got nothing to worry about.

It won't be easy, but so long as you stick to your goals, you'll make it. :)

But then... I didn't need a dream to be able to tell you that.

What'd I do?

I...I'm not sure...I...I got all excited...

Y..your hugging me awful tight...

B...because I'm happy?

I can't breath...

Cows are traditionally bringers of good news in dreams. :) I can direct you to some more reading on the subject when we get to that point, if you like.

I'm just happy to be a bearer of good news.

Wow...I never really read about dream stuff...I mean...I know about visions a bit...b..but I never...I never thought about devining the future so I just...kinda...

I still don't know what a cow looks like...

I...I'll draw one for you...I...I'm glad...I was worried what with starting...you know...growing up...that this might be a b...bad thing...like I was going crazy...

You don't have to worry about that, Tiffany. :) Everyone has the spark of imagination and fancy within them. Even the most imposing, unapproachable adult will have an occasional dream about fuzzy pink teddy bears dancing around them with spears while their high school science teacher is providing color commentary alongside a cow.

:) Just because they don't talk about it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It's quite normal. Not bad at all, I promise.
