But time will always win out in the end if you have one second too short to do what you need too.

And that's what it was. You didn't have the time you needed and no one can fault you for that. If you were able, you would have done it. That's what matters, the fact you wanted and would have tried to do it if you had the time.

Heroism isn't about being the biggest and the strongest. It's about knowing that even with all the power in the world, you can't fix everything. Heroes aren't fantastic people. They're just people who do what they can. They're not infallible, they don't know everything, and they can make mistakes, just like anyone else.

Don't beat yourself up, huh? That's not gonna solve anything, or teach you anything.

And it just might make me have to pull out the scary lessons again, like the last time I was mean. That wasn't fun, was it? ;)

It's what you do with what you've got that makes you a hero, remember that. Some of the best heroes in the world are those with no special powers at all.
